Hardest Area (Week 40 In The Field)

So I've come to the conclusion that this is probably my hardest area. It's super small, we only cover 2 neighborhoods, and they all are uber rich, so nobody is ever home because they all have jobs. It's really hard to find things to do, because there are only like 20 less actives in the ward, and a little over half want no contact. So all we can really do is tract, but we have almost tracted our entire area.

We did have a zone training this past Friday and they talked about creative finding, and we all had to come up with a new way to find someone to teach. My companion and I came up with the idea of starting a mission prep class for the Laurels and Priests. So we are going to start that up Thursday. The youth here are rocking missionaries. The Priests come out with us every week. We had 4 come out with us last week, and one came out with us all day. Well he's not a Priest, he's an Elder, but he got his mission call to Nampa, Idaho so we took him out with us all day to show him what it's like. He had such a blast. His Mom told us that he told her he had more fun than he thought he would have. I think the youth in this ward are our best bet for finding people to teach in this area.

On that note, we do have 3 new investigators, a single mom and 2 teenage daughters. They aren't super solid, but more so now then when we first tracted into them. Her name is Lisa and the 2 daughters names our Ally and Candice I think. Anyways, we had a good discussion with them, kinda answered her questions about what we believe and the importance of the Book of Mormon. We hope to go back and teach them the restoration.

Even though its a tough area, I love it here. My companion is awesome, the members are awesome, it's just hard to find things to do haha. Oh so looks like things will be changing with our new President. Looks like we wont have 50 pages of extra rules now. He trusts us enough that we only need preach my gospel, and the missionary handbook. I'm super excited for these changes. He seems like he really cares for us.

Anyways, I love you all and hope you have a wonderful week. Time is truly flying out here in the mission field but I love every second of it. :) Have a good week!
